Notes on the EU online dispute resolution platform

Since 09.01.2016 the so-called ODR regulation (Regulation (EU) No. 524/2013) applies. It provides for the establishment of a European online dispute resolution platform (OS platform) for the out-of-court settlement of consumer and business disputes in online purchases or on-line service contracts, and for the purpose of completing and settling disputes over online purchases or online service contracts in full online.
